When I started a small hair salon in Woensel as Haarboetiek Christel almost 24 years ago, hairdressing was still a real craft.
The training was designed for that purpose and all hairdressers still worked as real professionals.

Over the years a lot has changed in that.
The hairdressing profession is no longer what it used to be, quality has faded into the background because for years it was only about turnover.
This I have never wanted and never been able to accept, for me providing a hairstyle for our customers remains exclusively a matter of craftsmanship.
Craftsmanship that manifests itself in, among other things, mastering all techniques, keeping up with the latest fashion, taking care of our customers in the best possible way and giving correct and good advice about your hairstyle.
Because one of my wishes was to let more and more people enjoy a perfect care and a beautifully groomed hairstyle, I decided about ten years ago to open several branches.
For this I wanted to have a different name on the facade, not my own name anymore because not only myself but also others started practicing our beautiful profession in our salons.

If one looks at what I stand for from the beginning, the choice for the name Traditions Kappers is actually a logical one.
The craftsmanship that I want to give to our clients is expressed in a large number of techniques that we master.
Techniques that most hairdressers no longer know and master, but which do form the traditional basis of our beautiful hairdressing profession.
Hence the name Traditions Hairdressers.
And hence the reason that all our hairdressers are trained in our own institute as master hairdressers, they have mastered all the techniques which make your hairstyle a top hairstyle.

Currently, Traditions has grown to 22 locations in the region.
I am proud of our master hairstylists working there and I am proud that we can count so many people among our regular customers.
And to reach even more people and make our quality haircuts accessible to everyone, our prices have become the lowest in the region as of October 1, 2011.
And yet we continue to deliver our top quality, a combination that in my opinion you should not miss.
